    Point blank zero

    Steyr LG110 -MTC Viper 6-24x56

    anybody know anything about piont blank zero.
    Also what would you zero at for HFT

    John...that's a bit of a confusing post???

    Not sure what you mean about "Point blank zero" ??...and i presume you're talking about HFT?

    Personally i zero at 35 yds (.177 running at 11.5ftlbs)....that means i can also also aim straight on at 15 yds (secondary zero)

    I have been know to bore for Scotland on this one as it tickled my fancy and made a big difference to my last HFT score. I think that was probably more down to actually making me think what I was doing rather than anything else but take a look at:

    It's an excellent graphic explanation of what it is and how to use it.

    I changed my zero for HFT from 30 yards (getting a score in the mid 40s) to 38 yards, the PBZ for my set up (score in the mid 50s). It made a big difference to me but there's no substitute for practice.

    Thats the one. It worked for you then worth a try on my setup 41.6 yds
