A chum of mine has a Mk2 .22: GD6294. In good condition, with original etching and still in use as a squirrel-killer.
Hi Roger, finally found a chance to have a delve, and the MkI and MkII Airsporter Serial numbers from my collection are as below. Look forward to reading your findings . Atb: Gareth.
GB-07308 (MkI .22)
GD-21401 (MkII .22)
EE-7516 (MkII .177)

Done my bit for the BBS: http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....-being-a-mod-… now I’m a game-keeper turned poacher.
Thanks for the replies.
I have listed 110 serial numbers and have a few thoughts on the results.
(1) There must be many Airsporters still out there, owned by non BBS members.
(2) Some members may choose not to display the information, which is quite understandable.
(3) Very few .177's recorded. Out of the 20, I have 13 of them and two more are one's that I have sold.
(4) I have still never seen or heard of an ED model.
This list is not as conclusive as I would have hoped but maybe more will appear (hopefully).

A very interesting exercise. Thanks, Roger. The Airsporter must have one of the highest survival rates of any airgun. It is obvious to anyone who handles one that this is a classy piece of machinery and worth preserving.
