Arthur Bales in Richmond Road Cardiff William.
You cant get friendlier, more knowledgeable staff.

They dont keep a huge range in but can order anything and always do a great deal, I ve bought my Scorpion and HW95K from them.

Arthur Bail, Cant agree with Andrew more, Superb service, Example the old man and myself bought 2 s410 Christmas time, the old mans was leaking first outing took it back he exchanged the gun!, Next gun that came along was also leaking(seriously bad batch me thinks) this was a month down the line it started to leak, contacted Arthur Bail within the hour he had exchanged it for another. It would have been all to easy for him to send it back to AA and leave the old man without a gun for a few weeks!, but he didn't I cant recommend him highly enough, for advice and service he is second to none, and to top it all a bloody nice bloke!

Sounds great service, point to note is if the gun was up to one month old the shop has to replace or refund at your choice not his, sale of goods act.

Since i started shooting i've been going to Keens (wicked selection of stuff)but as someone else said on here earlier unless your spending a grand they are not interested! none of them even shoot in there i thought maybe they were ignoring me because they thought i didn't have money? but turns out they ignore everyone unless you pull up in a bmw with a suit on like the man and woman who were behind me (were over them like a rash) My Bro has been shooting for years and he said they are still like that with him now! Anyway thought i'd try the gun shop in Neath, All the people in there are proper old school, very very helpful and not just trying to get money out of you! they really explained things. I'm new to this sport and one of the boys off here (don't know his screen name) who helps out in the shop was chatting to me about what guns would be best and what he'd recomend for me to buy for about half hour. I know where i'll be spending my money from now on and it defo won't be keens! I highly recomend neath gun shop if you want a good service!

Just around the corner from 'Bales' in City Road, is also an Army Surplus shop that also sells the cheap chinese guns, telesights, soft Air etc, also sometimes he has some good second hand guns, for example, the other week he had a walnut stocked Theoben Scirocco with sight, silencer etc. for £195.00. Whenever I go to 'Bales' I also look in this shop, it's only about 30 Yds away

    Smile Sportsman To The Rescue?

    Hi William
I have heard on the grapevine that the Sportsman Gun Centre (New Owners of Litt's) are planning to Re-Open the Newport Store in just a couple of weeks.... Apparently they are working round the clock to get it back up and running!!!!

The Treetops Shooting Ground is still open - because I went there on Saturday and met Ryan Jones who was shooting there (yes - THE Ryan Jones, Welsh Rugby captain!!).

    Best Wishes
    David

I have heard that the Sportsman Gun Centre have taken over Litts.

This can only be good news as looking at the website for their Exeter shop, they seem to have some of the keenest prices around.
