Since i started shooting i've been going to Keens (wicked selection of stuff)but as someone else said on here earlier unless your spending a grand they are not interested! none of them even shoot in there i thought maybe they were ignoring me because they thought i didn't have money? but turns out they ignore everyone unless you pull up in a bmw with a suit on like the man and woman who were behind me (were over them like a rash) My Bro has been shooting for years and he said they are still like that with him now! Anyway thought i'd try the gun shop in Neath, All the people in there are proper old school, very very helpful and not just trying to get money out of you! they really explained things. I'm new to this sport and one of the boys off here (don't know his screen name) who helps out in the shop was chatting to me about what guns would be best and what he'd recomend for me to buy for about half hour. I know where i'll be spending my money from now on and it defo won't be keens! I highly recomend neath gun shop if you want a good service!
Neath gun shop, helpful and prices are fair.
I go there all the time now, saved 17 quid on 250 carts over keens.

Just around the corner from 'Bales' in City Road, is also an Army Surplus shop that also sells the cheap chinese guns, telesights, soft Air etc, also sometimes he has some good second hand guns, for example, the other week he had a walnut stocked Theoben Scirocco with sight, silencer etc. for £195.00. Whenever I go to 'Bales' I also look in this shop, it's only about 30 Yds away
I have heard that the Sportsman Gun Centre have taken over Litts.
This can only be good news as looking at the website for their Exeter shop, they seem to have some of the keenest prices around.

Iv spent thousand s in keens over the years, when I'm trying to buy rifles, scope charging gear etc they act like my best mate. if you try striking up conversation about last nites hunt or hft comp etc they totally blow you out. Very expensive too, waste of time. Atb Ryan
been to keens to have a look for an ultra multi shot cant get a quid off.maybe they dont want my money i was in my work clothes at the time so looking for another place to speend it any ideas one more thing were about,s is neath gun shop thanks
As above very much up and running, mainly orientated to game fishing but carry supplies for other disciplines. A great little shop run by salt of the earth types. The air gun section carries a limited stock of guns but carries plenty of accessories, good pellet selection. Obviously you stock what you sell. But they will get you whatever you need. Always good for a chat help and advice. Have carried out repairs to. This shop has loads of potential and if more people made use of it then it would only get better. It,s a case of use it or lose it!.
