Glock 17 replica Real Action Marker in sales section

    Hi Guys,

There is a RAM 30X, Glock 17 clone in the sales section at a bargain price for this weekend

    http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/show...97#post2794697

Its over £300 worth of goodies new, and is a brilliant toy to have great fun.

The only way to get a Glock air pistol as Umarex don't do them and airsoft don't count

    Cheers

I really like the RAM 68 pump-action shotgun. We had a play with one and were knocked over an aerosol can at 25 yards. We're not sure of the weight of the .68" rubber balls but, with an intelligent guess, it's putting out about 6 ftlbs.

    Hi Jonathan,

The .43 rubber balls are 10 grains so I may be able to calculate the weight from the difference in the volume, when I have woken up properly

Good fun, as is my RAP4, M16 clone

25 grains, now you have to measure the MV with a chrono The web sites in the US selling these claim 200 to 380 fps, adjustable.
If the .68 rubber balls will do 380fps then it's 8fpe.

    Cheers

Can't remember the chrono result exactly but it was a bit over 300fps, and we guessed 30 grains so pretty close.

I found a site that quoted velocities of about 220fps. Sounds about right and means the pistol is putting out about 1 foot pound. I was quite dissapointed with that but most paintball guns can be tuned up to some degree.
Cool site here by the way...

To get 240 you have to make an adjustment as they are set for 200 as delivered, but the instruction booklet shows you how.

They come set at 200 to stop paint balls exploding inside it

I use Chairgun 2 for my calculations.

No, Gamo built one called the Auto 45 which is a replica. Discontinued a few years ago and somewhat uncommon.
The RAM is far better constructed and a more interesting shoot.

The new Crosman t4 is a good replica of a Glock too.
