I hope I can put it back together afterwards...
queesy (sp) with the envy!
I have sent off a regular co2 CP88 to a plating company, who will chrome it for me,
4 week wait
£45!
no such words as alot or ect, and do you really want to add a second 'o' in 'lose', unless you're talking about something that isn't very tight?

You could have had it powder-coated in pink
well, that was my initial gay idea, but I bottled out when I saw the manliness of the Plating man.
So chrome it is!
(I always use red prometheus, but leave them in the sun for a day, so that the red plastic jacket/sleeve appears a bit pink.)
PS "Queezy", not "queery"

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Good Morning Nickpan....do you have to take the gun to bits in order for the plating to be done.......or do they do it exactly as they receive the gun, ie straight out of the box, so to speak.
Any pictures would be VERY much appreciated !!!

Yes, I'm afraid you have to strip the gun into its three main frame bits. I took pics as I stripped, and I've got it all back together again, minus a poxy ball bearing (on its way to me hopefully). Also, I didn't get a pin back, which I mistakenly thought was welded to the frame, so be sure of what you send off/want to end up with. I made my own out of an old allen key. Walther scopes come with atrocious allen keys, just begging to be hacksawed.
Next, to add a target rear sight, and a red dot on the safety catch.
I intend to change the seals, and sell it for a fortune.
