You lucky bugger! Any of the whiscombe range would be my dream rifle
I thought John wasn't making any more?

If its the first time you've been to see John, you will be impressed by the workshop (garage), did you get a silver one?,

He must have just finished a batch - I had my phone call from him yesterday to say mine is ready , just need to fix a time to collect it
I went for the silver barrel
I fired a JW a few years ago & it was so smooth & accurate. Absolutely beautiful rifle. I've always liked the woodwork & the blueing. I'd love one of my own, hope you enjoy it mate. Put some piccys up!
I've just had a look at his web site. What a lovely looking rifle. A small price to pay for a piece of prescision engineering.
Here's one to start with, sorry it's taken so long . Will try to get some more up soon

I am content with an early tilt barrel JW 50 with thumbhole and sporter stocks, 0.177" & 0.22" barrels, a lovely rifle to look at and shoot. set at 11.7 fpe in 0.177" (so dare not use a 0.22" without detuning). Precision engineering at its best!

I've got the 0.22 barrel for mine as well but John gave me instructions on how to swap barrels along with a small grub screw type thing that apparently will allow the power to be reduced when the 0.22 barrel is attached (not tried this yet though)
wots the cost of them guys.
very nice looking rifle
