OK UBC we have a decision to make on the UBC Logo.
Do we
1. Stick with the one we have
2. Use the top one
3. Use the bottom one

What about R.A.P.E.?.
Andy_J will be moaning when he gets back....
I like the idea about a shield.
Use the western style text with Tonys design (the top one), but with a pistol and a revolver either side (a S&W and a Colt1911 perhaps, I haven't got either of them, BUT they do represent each style perfectly).
Slightly softer colour saturation for the background?
Or do we open this up for a competition?
Give everyone a week to submit their own design, then we poll the lot, highest score wins.

Thanks Russ. Difficult to compare the original with the modified version because of the difference in size, but I prefer either over the bottom one.
MikeB, The difference between the 2 is that the original, used a mirror image of the right hand side revolver.
The new one also uses a much higher resolution image of the guns and uses both the left and right hand side of the gun (no mirror image).
I have put a lot of work over the last month or so preparing this and I have done it with different guns, Pistols & Revolvers.
The pistols just didnt seem to work very well for me. I would have liked to have my favourite pistols (Colt 1911 & IMI Deser Eagle) on it, but they did'nt look right. So I used the Smiths because it gave it a nice circular feel and look.
So the top one is a much refined version of my original and hence better (in my humble opinion).

Yes we only have 2 weeks until our fallen conrad is back with us, if he comes back!!!
Oh how i've missed the comments like:
I'm afraid I cannot be a member of the Umarex boys club. I do not and never will own anything like these under-powered gat guns.
and
Just one thing I must impress upon you heathens. I ma not a member of the UBC I do not and will not own a Umarex gat gun.

Snowy here
I've voted for the top one.
Reason being, on the logo it has two pistols which is quite well angled. It has the target that is currently being used in the UBC Pistol competition & the colour scheme is rather cool to warm.
The bottom one to me says >THIS<. ( no offence just the way I see it , however I can be a bit strange at times )

Paddy.
BE-HAPPY-OK
Present one or top one are great! Bottom one is too complicated: though a combination of a revolver and auto is nice.
Two revolvers suit me fine, though, I'm a wheelgunner, all the way!

Hi Guys
Thinking behind the second logo was simply that it's different and shows more than one type of Umarex since I reckon that there are more of the auto clones than the wheelguns. I didn't design the second one and only asked Dragonsinger to do "something different" as a sample. It was never intended to be a serious contender, just an illustration of other angles to the idea.
Quite frankly both of us are surprised at the fuss it has caused and just because he's a stirrer Dragonsinger says he's going to put a different logo on to a shield and another on a sheriff style star.
In the interest of neutrality I will not be voting on any logo.

Jim

Can I change the "Both of us" to All three of us?
Thought about a shield design myself very early on; decided against it.
Not sure a Sheriff's star would work?
Who voted for my original mirror image one?
My 2nd is far better as it shows both sides (as suggested by TB)
