just buy an s410, its light enough and still looks like a propper rifle
I'm looking for a leightweight PCP, has anybody been nerdy enough to draw up a list of weights of all available PCPs?
A pint of bitter and a pork pie please.
just buy an s410, its light enough and still looks like a propper rifle
air arms s200 6.2 lbs
air arms s400 5.98lbs
air arms s400 K 5.48 lbs
falcon whole range under 6.5 lbs
and i cant be buggered to do the rest hope this helps...
S400K series are as light as a feather... gets my vote.
Oh wait, this isn't a poll. My bad.
Well that's a surprise, the s200 havier than the s400

It's a shame you're wrong. Have a look at AirArms own figures.Originally posted by P1Fanatic

S200 is indeed heavier than the 400.
I've got a Falcon lighthunter 12" its 4.8lbs. Its a realy nice gun but i just cant keep it still. The gun very accurate and kills at 60 yards would be not problem if i didnt wobble so much. Rapid 7 weight is a nice trade off. I think they are 7.9 lbs. Also refilling the gun after 45 shots is real annoying when your testing pellets and setting up the sights.
At least hold as many different guns before buying.
I happened to be on the BAR website at the time and it lists:Originally posted by Snapshot.

S200 @ 6.21lbs
S400k @ 6.27lbs
Apologies if those figures are wrong (as seems to be the case).
Not that there is much in .06lbs anyway
Strange thing is that when I was buying my harrier x I was looking at a S410k and tried them both. In my hands the harrier felt lighter yet on paper its more than 1lb heavier. Id recommend seeing which rifle feels right to you rather than going solely on weight

Balance, length, fit and mass are the factors that decide how "heavy" a rifle feels.
Poor balance or fit will make a rifle feel heavier than it is and - of course - the reverse is also true.
I found my Elimintor to feel a bit front heavy for me.
My Huntsman was fine.
Ditto the Rapid.
I think and therefore...... I refuse to steal someone else's quote to try to sound more erudite or profound than I actually am.

Agree with posters above
Weight is a deceptive thing. If the rifle is built well and the balance is correct, how the gun feels at the shoulder has nothing to do with its physical weight.
You got to get out there and pick up some guns.
A good trick is to close your eyes when holding the rifles. It switches on your other senses and you will notice differences in your final selection of rifles.
However, be aware that the scope plays an important part in the final feel of a rifle !!!
