Question Size help for trigger mod

I want to sort out the trigger on my viper and need to replace the roll pin with a solid pin.
I intend to replace the roll pin with a piece off of a brill bit.

Now my question is what is 3/32" in milimetres?
I have found on the web that it's .6mm but am not sure if this is true as that would seem rather small

    TIA

i think 3/32 is a lot less than 6mm!!!! one inch is roughly 25mm so 6mm would be aprox 1/4

i think the metric size would be roughly 2.4mm though am sure others will tell me if im right or wrong

I think some welding rods may be 3/32", this will be mild steel, i have asked my Dad to have a look at his works place to see if he has any in stock.

Dad has just phoned, and the welding rods are just a smidge over 3/32" he said its about 4 thousands of an inch too big, which is 0.00635mm i believe, so this could easily be sanded down with some emery (so) paper. If you want one let me know and i'll send one over to you when i'm back next week,

(ps it is def. mild steel)
