Arrow My new semi auto pistol

    Hi all

I have just bought a very rare pistol , so rare that I have not even seen one advertised before !

The military crosman 451 semi - auto pistol in .22 calibre was made between 1969 and 70 and is regarded by many as the rarest of the crosman co2 pistols ever produced ... not only here in the uk but in the states too !

I have used a couple that a collector friend had but didn't think I would ever get one , they are a 6 shot blowback and very realistic to shoot .

Heres a couple of pics ( stolen from Scott . LOL )

    PIC 1

    PIC 2

    Military crosman 452 write up

The pistol was not working but Lawrie Armatruda resealed it and repaired a damaged spring for me and its now working superbly - thanks again mate .

    Just fired it again

I was going to restore it but perhaps its best left alone as it is a 40 year old gun after all said and done .

    cheers

    Dave

    Hi Dave,
My vote would be to leave it as is. It loooks in very good condition, and it isn't a new gun.

Now Lawrie (what a gentleman) has done it proud, you have a pistol that you can use, looks good and is the genuine article.

Yes Ray I think I will although as far as I can see the top slide looks to be anodised and the rest sprayed so wouldn't be hard to do .

Very tempted but I was always told that original finishes were best left original however scuffed !

Sod restroring the gun Dave, you need to do some serious work on your diningroom table

Not sure Russ - he advertised it as rare and he's a collector . As I say it was bought not working and I bet their's not many people that know how to work on these .

I have had loads of very VERY different values on here and I still have no idea which one is correct ? Oh well I got it to shoot with anyway
