    Celebrity HFT

I was just thinking (I do now and again), wouldn't it be nice if the stars of yesteryear and current Air gun Journalists, were to have a HFT Competition amongst themselves in aid of charity

They could for example, name their chosen charity and ask for sponsorship from those within the industry, or for that matter the Public as well. so much for each point scored.

It would be very interesting to see the likes of Terry Doe, Nick Jenkinson, Barry Hearn, Terry Le Chem, Dave Tucker, etc, etc, battle it out in aid of their chosen charities..

It might even get good media coverage, if it were promoted right.

what do the rest of you think?.

Maybe get medical companies involved and building firms. You'd need Oxygen and general medi-care etc on hand, plus wheelchair / zimmer access etc. Caterers maybe for the gucci food, star dressing rooms etc.

That should take care of Terry, the rest should be easy enough.

Personally I reckon they'd be too chicken. Let's see...

Maybe if we polished the grass and made sure there were no creepy crawlies around. (Not including the other journalists).
Also if we had a team to help him up again, plus a SWAT team to remove any stains from the white trousers.

Trouble is tho Pete, it would be like Mohammed Ali fighting Larry Holmes. Way too old and he'd take a terrible beating. Maybe if he just shot the 1st few pegs with somebody taking the weight of the rifle ?

Why just have Celeb ? make it a pro-am ?. The superstars v us amateurs. I'd pay to take a beating (which I'm sure we would) off the great and the good.

Could do - staff in care homes are up for getting the old and lonely out and about, even if just to find a new carpet to dribble on, only kidding oldsters.

It could be an event in itself - 2004 Celebration of Euro-Airgunners!
