    What other vintage/80's air-rifle I could bring

Well there's my Crosman A*I*R*17, however I don't think it will knockdown the far targets, that's if I manage to hit them anyway

Or my Norica commando, which I've gone round at Kibworth with it, after the main shoot.

    Then my Numerous Jackals.

    oh decisions, decisions

oh forgot there's my webley Hawk aswell

Seriously though I'm looking forward to shooting any of these, as these were the ones that I wanted & had in my youth, but never went to a club, which I now wish I had. Talk about reliving your childhood or what

If anyone attending this ground-breaking event has a Sharp Innova or an Original or RWS 45, I'd be much obliged if they could bring it on the day for photographic purposes.

This is going to be a cracking day for all who attend, there should be some real eye candy for any lovers of period and vintage air weapons, lets just hope the weather behaves and this is only the first of many such vintage comps.

Excellent. Those sold like hot cakes when they first came into the country because there was one particular pellet that was superb with them. The pellet went 'off the boil' and interest in the .20" 45 went with it.

    Hi,
Good luck with the shoot everyone sounds like a good bit of fun.
I would have love to have come across, and would have done if it didnt clash with the Hull Nefta shoot.
I could have dragged my old Mk1 or mk3 airsporter out,or I have a sweet shooting .177 Mercury. Oh the daughter could have shot her old Titan MPT in the older pcp class.

Is this likely to be an annual or bi-anual event if it goes ok?

A christmas meeting would be a good laugh for a day.
Hope it gets a good turnout..

Consider one 'fetched' for the old Brownie and I not referring to the camera.

    Good point.

Our Charity shoot is annual so if this Classic shoot is a success I don't see why it couldn't be incorporated.

I think this is a first for the North and it's in a good cause.
Let's see what happens and what people think.

I was talking to Gary (Grayling) last night.

An annual event sounds good to me.

I shall be bringing the following rifles:

A Sharp Innova .22(for old Moonflower to photo)
Webely Omega .22 fitted with an adjustable gas ram. A unique Webley prototype which never reached production.
A Beeman FWB Sport .22 for MALLY to dribble over.
    A B.S.F. model 55. .177. Power house dwarf rifle.
The fabled B.S.F. 65 .177 - just to prove it isn't a figment of my imagination.
    A very early Original model 35 .22 (1953)
A Sharp Pan Target .177 side lever pump up.
    A Normay Vixen Export .22
A Barnett Spitfire and a Hammerli Model 495.

All these rifles will be made available throughout the day for you to play with - I mean inspect.
