Several people have contacted me asking for maps/directions to this event.

These can be found on our club web site (HERE). We are next to TURTON TOWER which is a 15th century historic building just north of Bolton and tourist sign posted from several miles away in many directions. Post code BL7 0HG.
Once you reach the 'Tower turn off the main road (B6391) drive past their entrance and the car park and over the very ornate railway bridge. After approx 200 yards you will come to a 'T' junction, turn left we are on the right.
From the main road follow the Red Rabbit sign posts.

The targets (10 of) in the 'Classic Rifle' section have been set between 10 - 35 yards with 40mm kill zones to cater for those using open sights and probably not your usual rifle.

If its serious competition you want to try, enter the 'Extreme HFT' up in the woods (15 targets @ £2) or the main 40 target F.T./HFT/SFT course (£5).

    Just a little note.

If anyone has trouble finding the targets just ask I.J.

It was him who said "they will want a little to think about"
I think it's a superb course for the type of rifle that will be being shot, apart from that I.J. said what's O.K. for him will be good for everyone else

Not really. I've seen the targets.

Apart from that I want to spend the day chatting. Talking air guns, engaging in intellectual conversations and meeting people and fellow BBS members to exchange tripe receipes. I can shoot my guns any time.
