Hi mate, ewe ( ) might find .22 harder work in terms of trajectory estimation, but why not? A lot of people, including myself use .177 due to it's flatter trajectory, but I also have an HC in .22, which is challenging, and a lot of fun to shoot.

What ever your comfortable with will be suitable for hunting. If your thinking of becoming a serious challenger in HFT, .177 would be the best judging by past results, but if for the thrill of the day/s only, .22 would be fine.
