    Thanks for the Welcome...

...and all of the great advice about airguns. I am enjoying it now, but can see that once I get my own, and have learned a little more from you all, I could get really hooked! This could take up all of my spare time (ask Jim how much extra time I have)

Anyway, it is so good to "meet" all of the nice people who Jim constantly talks about!

But hey, there's no sanity exam to join.

Welcome aboard the UBC Jan, I'm sure you'll enjoy it although with two of you into the same hobby, it could get expensive!

Paddy, I fully intended to shoot the comp last Saturday, but had disastrous misfortune on the side-shoot - the Walther's CO2 mag-holder decided to fail, and vented the contents of two caplets one after the other before I realised it was probably terminal.

I've dropped it off at a local gunshop and hopefully it will be repaired - or a new one bought - before Saturday. Worst case scenario, I'll just have to disqualify myself from the sideshoot this month. I'll let you know either way by Saturday.

    Unhappy Major blow

I'm not going to be able to post a score this month Paddy, just started suffering a bout of costochondritis (damned sore chest) and am unable to lift my arm in front of me let alone hold a pistol on target

Take consolation that this time around, we're allowed to elimiate our lowest score, Northern.

In any case: get well soon!

    Award Certificates

    Hi Guy's & Doll's
I have an immense amount on at the moment
I have just taken over as Web Manager & Designer for a local medical support group (purely unpaid but it will look good in my CV.)
I get a full day at the range tomorrow and I have a load of personal crap going on as well at the moment

So, I will require a few days (perhaps a week) to complete every ones Certificate for these comps. I must appologise in advance for any delay.
If you dont have your Cert's by Friday then email me as I may have forgotten or its because you wont accept email from members

All the best and good luck (as long as you dont beat me)
