    Smile Stocks for pistols

    Hi everyone.
My young girls had their first shots of my air rifle a couple of days ago and really struggled with the weight and size.
This got me thinking and wondering.
Can we get stocks for pistols?
If so what pistols have stocks available for them?
Has anyone made a stock for a pistol? Pics would be nice...

.and failing that what would be a good light , small easy to shoot rifle for a beginner, probably CO2 as I can't see them breaking the barrel of a springer.
Power is not really important as their ranges are a few yards at the mo.

    Many thanks

I agree with Ikarma70, the ratcatcher is a good little carbine to get things rolling and it's cheap, if you can lay your hands on a cheap 2240/1740 you could add a crosman stock for around £15, (below is a pic of mine)

the S200 is very good if you want to spend a bit of dosh or thier is a guy on here selling a Junior Stock for your S410 (link Below)

    Thanks guys

The ratcatchers had come to mind but the 2240\1740 had not
    Nice gun cookie

I currently have a pistol, a cp99 that I will look at adding a home made stock to.
Looking at the exploded view in the manual it looks like I could attach it via a connection already there, I'll have to have a fiddle.. in the mean time, I'll be watching the for sale thread several times a day to see if there are any interesting offerings
I did notice there was a 1740 come up a few weeks ago.. It's always the way!

Many thanks for you help and advice.
    Best regards

Yeah it was mine , had a 10" Barrel too, which would have been perfect with a stock.

if you are clever with wood then you could easily make a rifle stock that the cp dropped into and fastens through the pistol grip the same way.

alternatively is try and get a hatsan / edgar bros mod 20 pistol. break barrel, nice and cheap and will fit into a small hand made rifle stock!!

if you can't manage the stock building aspect then a rat catcher or even a qb / xs78 with a shortened stock would suit - they are only about 55 quid new from BAR too.

    a crooked barn custom 2240 I believe........

    Danro,

A QB78 deluxe is a nice starter rifle.
I got mine for £62.00 new 5 months ago. 2 Co2 powerlets, easy to load, quite light, can be worked on.
I made a small pistol grip stock for my lad (11yrs)
    He loves it.

    Cool

Hey guys, thanks for the comments.
A week or so after the original post a 2250B cropped up here on the For sale section.
    I snapped it up
It was not quite in the condition I had hoped for as the barrel has worked its way loose a number of times and there is a fair bit of pitting where the screws have been tightened and it worked loose again.
The breech was\is loose too so I have a mini "project gun" that will hopefully get a new shorter stock and ultimately be a great little ratter when the girls are not using it

    regards

My very small 10yo son has a 2250 custom realtree and absolutely loves it.

Makes a nice loud bang for him too, running at 10.7ftlbs just got to get him a cheap low mounted scope. Any suggestions?
Enjoy every step you take, you never know which one will be your last.
