someone hunted ratties with one once in one of the mags.

wouldnt reccomend it tho, hard to aim them accurate too much risk of injuring them

They are more than up to the job if your a crack shot. When I was 12/13, I used to blat Starlings with one for my Ferret. Don't recall hitting one and it flying off.

Used one for years as a teenager to shoot squirrels and rabbits. From what I remember it took ages to get to be a crack shot but once you got the knack, the accuracy was uncanny. More than capable of taking out rats, crows might be a different story though as you'll need to get close to them.

I used marbles as ammo, when I ran out, I'd win some more.

If you run out of marbles then why not make a "Throwing Arra" they will be able to drop the biggest cows.

Has anybody tried "Cow tippling" I havent done any of that since I was in my early teens oh what fun we used to have!

A good caty is easily up to the job, just get your eye in with practice and give it ago,the impact off these things are huge.I saw somone get knocked out cold from about 70/80 yards, and no it was not me who did the shooting or getting knocked out,i was just observing.

go to your local mechanic, every wheel bearing changed has a dozen or so lovely ball bearings,(except new cars with tapered bearings) slip someone a drink and ask them to keep a load for you. perfect ammo
