After yesterdays fiasco trying those plastic sabot pellets I cleaned all my barrels as best I could.
Today I printed a load of the 6yard targets and went to play (Sod the miserable old gits next door) To minimise noise and disturbance to them, I set my target holder up a couple of yards from the back door and fired from the inside of the house
I decided to do it with my new plaything. The Gamo P23. I used D&N Geco pellets and got some pretty good results considdering the trigger mechanism of this little pistol is attrocious(sp?)
My first group of five scored me a 47
I have never had a score that high! even with my normal/usual pistols.
I couldnt believe it!! Then my other neighbours lad came out to see what I was up to.
We had a chat and he examined the P23. He wants to join a local club but its miles away and we dont have transport at the moment.
Any how back to the thread
I then decided to finish the card off and put a further 5 shots into the second target. Scored 31 HUH! what happened
Then sticking to comp rules I shot the next 2 5shot groups single handed.
PATHETIC! Less than 20 in each.
I decided to have another go with fresh target. Ruddy useless!
Anyone else started off with a good high score then gone down the pan as bad as this or was my first group just a fluke?
