had sometime this week to print some groups and continue filming some long range for you guys. as usual i was shooting on 10x mag on plates and paper. i did experience one problem since those o-rings on the filling probe simply could not enter the cylinder and i forced them abit moving the figure of 8 clamp and thus i ruined the zero and could not continue the film. the group was shot late in the evening and some more light would have helped. you will see the shots when i upload the videos online.
The rifle still needs a monopod to get it to stay level at the back since when i shoot it occasionally slips off the sand sock and throws the shots high as happened in this case and other times so called CTK precision for their P3 ultimate monopod.

here's the group at 125meters and 2 more groups at 90 meters. i got similar results about a month ago, needless to say i was happy with the 90meter groups but not very excited with the 125meter since i didn't solve the problem of the stock slipping and thus still throwing shots high occasionally meaning i would ruin a nicely printed group. when i say slipping it's not like its falling however when i squeeze the trigger on a good call the crosshairs come back down on the POA after the shots since it does recoil abit. when the stock 'slips' i usually find the reticle about 2-3 inches of the POA and usually the shot is also somewhere upthere.

ok guys here are some more photos and groups of more long range shooting past 100meters, we are at 122meters(133yards) again and 147 meters(160yards). just in case you are wondering, Yes i have everything on camera so i won't dissappoint anyone. some more Ice cube targets and the video will be ready
wind was 3-5mph from 2o'clock altough i did switch from behind at one point and obviously it resulted in a miss. i don't have a reactive backstop so if i dont happen to catch pellet in flight i am lost for correction. next videos i will have ice cubes on Sandy backstops so as to see that distinct puff)
setup, as usual i range the targets by laying the Range finder ontop of the turrets so as to help me get some more stability. if range is incorrect, so will be my dope for elevation and eventually my correction for windage will also be wrong since it is worked out on a mathematical table.

started out with a solid 35meter zero check. no problems over there, drilled the paper cleanly.

some more testing of the scope, Box test and return to zero. the latter is done by shooting one shot, keep same POA, spin the knobs, shoot again, come down same number of Mils, shoot and repeat for how many times you like.

the 147 meter shots, i took the elevation from the Validated sheet i used from chairgun. validated means that you play with the numbers to get them the closest to your real world results and drop chart. i dialled 9.3 Mils elevation and 2.5mils windage. first shot i missed, too much windage on then i saw the impact, used the reticle to read how many MILS i was off and dialed again. in the video you will see all the process including working out the wind. i couldnt shoot from the prone position since the grass was too tall so i rest the rifle on some rocks and supported my right elbow with my knee. i could have had a more stable platform but hey it's more realistic that way and more challenging. remember at this distance one slight cant and wind shift and you are off target

i'll try to shoot one from prone position so i won't have any excuses for not grouping better the group is slightly larger than my palm so had it been a notorious plant pot, i would have sent it spinning. well i could film just that next time round...

Great stuff rod, I do know how wonderful and accurate the .25 is , in my opinion the .25 running at 50's and over ftlb is very near to a .22 rimmi. As I said before i shot at a bucket at 173yds and it blew holes right through it, the one's that hit the metel pole where the bucket had been placed on top had shatterd the pellet! awesome stuff.
