    Hi,

The question is, do you use this silencer on an airgun ? But if you do why do you need to clean it ?
There are no reasons for cleaning a silencer on an airgun - they donīt get dirty inside like a silencer on a firearm does !

Of course if you get mud inside the silencer you need to clean it out, so there will be a free passage for the pellet again. You can use rags and water for this and dry it afterwards. Then put the silencer back together again.

Just take them out, clean them, and put them back in as they came out. It's that simple

But as stated, why do you need to clean it?

I just took mine apart out of boredom, 'to see how it works'.

They actually work better with the felt taken out

    Especially on .22 LRs !

Might be worth leaving it in the last chamber though....

hi guys thanks for the replies.i forgot to say its been on a rimmy . i was a bit worried that if i took all the washers out they may not line up correctly when i put them back you see guys im brilliant at getting things apart but correct reassembly has never been my strong point which i know isnt very good as im a mechanic but it doesnt really matter because it means ive always got plenty of spare nuts and bolts left over thanks again for the replies guys. mel
