    rapid .22

    thinking about changing a rapid .22 into a .177..does anyone know anyone who does it?

    Sorry no, I don't. Thought it was just a matter of changing the barrel and the probe. Don't know whether or not it will interfere with the power setting.

    Rapid .22

    Hi mate
    I am also thinking of changing my .22 elan to .177 you will need to change barrel probe and also change or shim your hamer spring. I dont think that its too difficult to do yourself. I spoke to Theoben today a new barrel is £105 +pp a new probe is about £15 and I think a hammer spring is £8.

    you will also need to mod the bottle adaptor,to get the optimum performance in .177 calibre.
