This hurts this hurts a lot

But Agree with Dave (don't mean it hurts because of Dave )

But at the Pre-season at Quarry god knows how fast the wind was blowing but i was giving it 3 + mildots of windaged at some targets, i thought the 22 lads would have an advantage but they didn't, i have a theory(may be talking through my @rse mind ) but i don't think its so much the cal but the actual pellet that are better in wind than others.

If it is Beech woodwork then it's at the top end of it's value, but at the lower end for Walnut.
Personally, I'd go for the TX as highlighted by Gary.

TX in .177. I know the guy selling it and he's a top lad.

The pro-sport gets a bit of stick in some circles for not being too robust but some like it.

There is also the HW series.

Ultimately you should try at a club to shoot a few

I can get a new one for £50 more

Looks like I'll have to veer away from the cheap .22 deals going on and go for something in .177 So far the .177 camp is winning.

There is a secondhand price difference between calibres that's opened up in the last few months. If you're selling a .22 then buyers are reacting as though you're a lepper. .177 guns are definately worth more.

True - but I've seen a fair number of people ditch perfectly good brand new springers because they didn't give them time to run in properly, complaining that they "were too harsh to be comfortable" or words to that effect.

This one's had all the hard work done already

    Paul.
