I see what you mean... but it's not wallpaper, it's the front of a radiator cover that I made.

You made it! So you can’t even blame the wife!

Where did you have the stock made? Is it one of Garry's?

I'm sorry but I have to agree with Ned. The last time I saw a piece of wood like that, my Aunt was serving coffee on it!

    Ter

No mate, not one of Garys', a guy at my club has started making them.

Ned. I see from one of your other posts that your personal taste is for Rapids.......says it all really.

Scarecrow. Each to their own mate, why not post a pic of one of your guns so we can see real class. Or maybe one of your Aunties' tea tray.

    Cheers,

    Alan.

Is it a Wilson stock he uses as the pattern?

To be honest mate, I don't know. I saw one he made for a friend down the club and wanted one.

I don't think he consciously uses anything as a pattern, but there are certainly similarities. I took my P70 to his workshop which I had set up to fit me nicely, he drew a design around that so's all the measurements were the same, and we took it from there.

    Cheers,

    Alan.

One of the best looking P70s I've seen (but then I have an Alu-Tek Dommie - so what do I know about good taste?)

Can I ask where you got the scope bridge from Alan?

    Paul

    Thanks Paul.

The mount was made by a guy at my club.

Did Terry not have one on his gun this weekend, ( I saw in your post that you shot with him ), maybe he hasn't fitted it yet.

    Cheers,

    Alan.

    Thanks Alan.

Nope - Terry just had conventional mounts. It didn't stop us taking the mickey out of his "Canon White" scope though... .

    Paul.
