Boot Sale find...Webley mk1 pistol

While walking round a boot sale this morning I came across an elderly gent selling this Pre-war Webley mk1 pistol. After some haggling I bought it for £45.00
The serial no is 48687 which according to Hillers page 190, parra 1 they ran from 20828 - 48687 Could I have one of the last MK1s or maybe the last! Would this add to the value of the pistol? Thanks. oh and its .22

Great purchase Simon. Hiller does say your gun was the last number in a range taken from a record of serial numbers, so who knows, maybe you do have the last one ever made? Maybe Troubledshooter or Slug-gun will be able to shed more light.
