    Bisley

Spent the last two days at the Pheonix show at Bisley, had a great time.

I saw some nice collectors items, such as two Crosman 600 semi- autos, one mint and boxed £300, another not quite mint and (repro box?), £225. Two Mk 1 ASI Paratrooper repeaters fairly good cond, £58 each.

One of the most interesting / oddball was a Browning .177, made in Belgium, with electric cocking. The stallholder said it has a circular spring like a clockwork motor. It has a rechargable batt in the stock and when the button is pressed an electric motor winds up the spring. then you pull the trigger. It came with a charger and some other bits.

Very nicely made and in very good condition. £ 248.

    Does any one remember them?

    Cheers

    Ben

Was almost tempted by the paratrooper myself (£58 IIRC), but already have one !

Browning Airstar was an unusual one too, albeit a bit pricey...

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Saw a pair of Daystate Competas on one stand but managed to resist them (£300 each or £550 for the pair). Also saw Buddy Boy but I doubt anyone got much for him.
    I want a Walther G22.
