HW90 re-fit

I have to replace the stock on my HW90.To remove the action from the stock, the trigger guard/safety assembly has to be removed from the action.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that replacing said assembly was somewhat problematic and there was a certain procedure that should be followed to ensure that the safety/re-setter worked properly.
Has anyone any experience with this procedure? An idiot proof step by step would be much apreciated. Thanks

Before I replace the trigger guard assembly on mine,I cock the trigger mech. using a small screwdriver,which then allows me to re-assemble the said unit back on the gun after the stock.When fitted,the trigger is then pulled(remember the piston is not engaged atall with the trigger)to the uncocked position!

I know this is an old thread,but I bought a hw 90 today s/hand
and took the stock off to give it a clean and now I can't
get it to work properly does anyone know how to set the trigger
which will allow me to refit the stock.
