    Who can reccomend me...

a gunsmith to cut down and recrown a Webley Stingray barrel? Any idea of price? Would certainly make more sense to have it done than buy a brand new shiny one from Webley, as the rest of the rifle is all scratched up anyway. Despite my rantings about Webley's price, I am willing to pay to have a good job done

What is the shortest length it could be made without adversly affecting accuracy or power?

    Cheers

Do it yourself - the crowning is the important bit, just leave an extra inch in case you really cock it up and need some first aid on it later....

I can recommend DM80 who posts on here. Not only does he work on airguns but - HE USES THEM AS WELL!

There's an article on how to do this in this month's AGW with step by step instructions.

OK, cheers for the advice chaps.

Any info on the minimum length before power is affected badly?
