Has anyone else seen AA's adverts where they promise if the warehouse has stock, a rifle will be with your dealer within 48hrs of the order?
Well... My 400 in lh was ordered Tuesday for me, and quite rightly it was expected in today so I made special arrangements to finish work early to collect it.
It hasn't turned up! I rang AA to get the explanation that 48hr only applys to RH Beech stock guns as everything else was special order unless there were some already in the warehouse.
They then rang me back to say that the warehouse has had stock all along; but they have taken 48hrs to process the order! And it would be dispatched in the next two days; being with my dealer by Tuesday at the latest.
So much for the 48hr promise.... make that a week promise.
Was really looking forward to having a tinker tonight aswell.
A disappointed.

Your not the 1st person on here to say the same as you.![]()

I second that. A bit like Webleys being set at 11.5 ft/lbs.

The list is shortened..... but still distinguished.
Or never wait for my boss to order an S-200 .177 for me (and not for a customer). I ended up having to do a stock check and then waited while he double-checked the stock check (aaaaaaaaaaagghhhhh! Why does he do that?!!!!!). He then ran out of time to put in an order with John Rothery Wholesale. So that's me stuffed for setting the S-200 up on my day off on sunday.
When i'm buying something from work, i get treated worse than the most pain in the backside customer from hell. I don't know why i bother buying from work other than the staff discount? (and that can vary depending on what we're buying)
By the way, if we put in an order with John Rothery before 2.30 and they've got it in stock, we get the delivery 24 hours later. So the 48 hour deal can work out quicker.

Hi,
what shop did you use to order?
you had a few options except ste up city air weapons ,sure powells has a left hooker in at mo and bates has a custom shop in.
left hand stock seems understand able but i think 48h is a bit to quick and shouldnt be promised, bit miss leading really.
i suppose if you was local to them they would get it to you with in 24h.
you should of ordered the 510.
problem seems to be with most manufacturers that you order goes threw to many hands and ends up on a desk or lost and forgot about which is a shame.heard nothing but good about aa customer service and i do think 48h is a bit ambitious.

They can promise all they like but do they say what they will do IF they fail to meet the deadline they set themselves.
If they dont have a penalty, then such a comment is just spin.
Damn this accursed slydexier, deslixia, slesdex-e-her. Well damn it anyway
I've ordered from the Country Store; the two lads in there really know their stuff and are very patient with you. Even explained all my options of other guns available to me in addition to the one I came in to discuss.
Hopefully should know around 4pm if its turned up today; wanted to go the range this weekendif it doesn't then it will just have to be next week.
I'm like a little kid on xmas eve

Are you sure it wasn't the 48 day promise ?![]()
