Thread: Air Arms snap connector.

    Question Air Arms snap connector.

I'm trying to source a snap coupler to go between the hose (1/8 bsp) and an assortment of connectors (1/8 bsp) for various guns.

From previous threads the Air Arms one seems to be common.

Does anyone know what the Air Arms snap connector actually is? Make, name, size, material etc.

It'll be an industry standard coupler - probably available at a quarter the cost of the £18 which AA are asking.

    Anyone know?

    ATB Gordon.

Do you mean you have on the end of your hose the AA Femal part and want a male part that you could put e.g a logun charger connector on and therefore just snap it into the Hose and charge your logun ? If so talk to Lloyd at Blackpool Air rifles i bought a couple, £6 each i think ?

Speak to Clubshot as he has all the parts. I think it's about £15 for a female to go on the hose and £5 or £6 for the male plus 20p per dowty washer. The problem is that now they're all normally made with non-return valves in which wrecks them for us as the hose can't be bled after filling the gun. Bob claims he gets them specially made without the valves.

I'm actualy after the female and male parts (don't like the way this conversation is going... ). I have a pipe which ends in 1/8 bsp female - and lots of connectors which end in 1/8 bsp male. Snap connector to fit between said bits..

Remove the non-return valve with a hammer & punch. I bought one from DaveL for the same reason as above, very cheap & arrived the next day I requested it let alone paying for it. I didn't realise it had a NRV in until I tried to remove the connector, I ended up bleeding my rifle.

So do I (but not quite as many) and it's how I believe Enzo wants to do it.

I have a system much like Barry's except that I also have an Female coupler on the valve block so I don't need to use a hose when filling Rapid bottles or, in the old days, TAC Cartridges.

Also the hose can be stored and transported away from the valve assy reducing wear and tear on the hose.

I do stock all the Bits for fellow Lea Valley Shooters

Most use, a universal female on the Bottle then use male connectors for each seperate gun.

I had to get universal females and males made without valves
as lates clips can not be knocked or pushed

I also stock the adapters to change the Heavy Pipe off Ram Chargers to Microbores

Yes I do also stock 12 in Microbore pipes

Mostly for fellow Lea Valley Members & Visitors , but will email them out
