hi bird , its not polish its walnut oil bought from tesco, just rub it in with a lint free cloth or the palm of your hand , wait to dry and repeat , its had about 20 coats so far , the first few will just soak straight in

    Wink

Like i said "Lovely finish on the stock" All thats needed now you've practised the oiling technique is to get a decent gun and your away. You can sell the ear muffs as well.

Hi, did you sand it down or remove the finish before you polished it or did you just apply it straight on? My pro sport stock is lovely piece of walnut, and I'd like to keep it that way or even enhance it looks. Do you think they sell the walnut oil at every tesco?

louise i just gave it a very light sanding with ultra fine wet and dry, and as for the walnut oil i should think you could get it from any tesco store i think it was less than £2.00 for a 250ML bottle so should last yer for years

I'll sell it to you Kev, never worry about being caught with it, zero running costs and extremely light.
