    HW77 Refurbish Results!

    Hi all,

Finally go the venom tuning kit today from BAR and a new replacment breech seal. Well what can I say, it has took me 1 month, loads of hours in the greenhouse, blood, sweat & tears but I finally got the HW77 back together. The difference in action is unbelivable:

    BEFORE: TWWWWANNNNNGGGG G G G G
    AFTER: phut

I have set it up with some S200T open sights which I grafted onto the Hw77 action with a slight bit of modification. Anyway the results: a very consistent, accurate and fun airgun to shoot with. Take a look at the pictures, you will be amazed with the difference.

    BEFORE:

    AFTER:

Cost me £120 on top of the actual airgun. errr

    ISP ReBlack - £50
    Tuning Kit - £50
    Oils, wax & stains: £10
    Sandpaper - £10

My origional plan was to sell it on? But I am not so sure after all of the work I have put into it.... What price would it be worth if I do decide to sell.

In conclusion a very worthy process and an amazing outcome.

Keep it Ian, it's very unlikely that anyone else would appreciate your craftsmanship, when are you starting on the next project?
