    world champs in Ireland

Just been reading the rules and found this
"Every competitor, via either host NGB, domestic NGB or privately, must be able to produce a document of shooting insurance covering him or her/self during the championships"

Does being a BFTA member cover the required insurance? If not what can be done in about 6 days/

    just found on another forum
"Please note - all competitors must have their own insurance to shoot in the world championships. Please check before you arrive as we will need to see proof of insurance. If you do not have insurance or your cover does not extend to N Ireland Countryside Alliance have agreed to provide cover for £5 for the duration of the event. This can be paid on arrival.
    Many thanks
    Greg "

so at least we can get insured on arrival if needed.

No need to panic PTD, this has cropped up already & Lyndeen Calvert the BFTA Insurance Officer has posted in the other place concerning this issue.

    Check This Out

Why don't you post your name & club to her to set your mind at rest?

No problem Mucker, see you there. Everyone round to my tent for beer.
I'll bring the tent, you lot bring the beer!

Not much chatter, either here or in the other place concerning the up coming Worlds. Does anyone have any views on who's going to take it, any shifty side wagers going on?
