    Calling all UBC Members

Paddy and myself are thinking of trying to arrange a get together for all us Pistol Heads. So to get the ball rolling do any of you have any ideas or places we could meet, ideally we could do with someone with a bit of land or a large back yard we could shoot on (Fun knockout competition) and a place to crash even if it means setting up some tents.

or we could even just meet up at a hotel/BB for a bite and a few beer's.

All ideas welcome and if it works out we can even sort out a few pick ups for people passing your area's if you don't drive, or just to save money by car pooling.

While i have your attention Guy's & Gal's the Gallery section is now up and running thanks to Paddy, so come on guy's i want photo's of you to put on the website and we also have a gallery for your guns. E-mail photo's to me at gallery@umarexboysclub.co.uk putting Gallery in the subject line.

New members always welcome just PM me on here or send me an e-mail to membership@umarexboysclub putting Membership in the subject line. Contact Paddy if you would like to take part in our monthly Pistol Comp.

For those of you who don't know about the website go to www.UmarexBoysClub.co.uk

    First question.

Where would we be looking to hold it?

    North/Midlands/South.

When we decide that, could members of clubs see if it's possible to use there facilities for the meet. It would be nice to have a shoot with all the pistols there that each of us claim to be the "best". Also take our rifles too.

Air Arms owners club met at Anston club (Midlands), camped overnight and had a shoot both days in March this year, excellent do, nice to meet names off the forum, as well as visit a club we had'nt been to before.

    Just a thought.

Nice idea Roy, fine for you and me may be a bit of a trek for the rest of the gang though.

I've had a look at where most of us are located and it looks like Nottingham and borders seems to be the central most area. unless we included Jim & Jan then it's Newfoundland

    Keep them idea's coming.

Come Guys, there must be someone round the midlands area that can host the Gang, all you need is a big back yard and a wife who will make a few dozen bacon sarnies and tea the next morning. I'm sure between us we can bring a few BBQ's food and beer.

or maybe the use of a clubs range and stay in a travel-lodge or similar

    any ideas welcome.

    UBC Meet

    Hi Guys
If you don't mind pitching camp the local Community Centre here in Bradford has enough land and cooking facilities. Even a hall big enough for indoor comps.
They hire out though but if it's a runner I can check prices etc.

Jim & Jan I can do a pick up from Leeds/Bradford airport and you can use my caravan (trailer to you guys) if you like.
This offer does NOT apply to UK citizens.

    Over to you

That's a mighty nice offer, Jim.

Only problem is, we were in England May of this year - and July of 2007 - and our budget just won't allow for any more overseas trips for a few years.

    Thank you, though.
