    Falke Model 80/90 Mainspring

There can't be many people in the UK who own these top-quality German underlevers, but for the benefit of those that do and our overseas members ...

If it needs a new mainspring, a standard HW77 model can be made to fit. I cut six coils off one and my Falke 80 is smooth, reasonably easy to cock and is producing about 8 ft/lbs (.177). I think I could have left a couple more coils on and got more power, but I didn't want to overstress the old girl.

    Hi Hsing-ee
Acording to Knibbs the spring for a Falke 80 is the same as the spring for the HW77. Can't blame you for cutting it down though, best to be on the safe side with the old girl.
    Cheers Mick
