    New classic required

Hi all, I'm looking to buy myself a classic springer, I know i should post any wanted ads in the correct place but I also know that the guns i'm seeking are of the calibre of this section of the forum so I'll try here first if thats ok? (mods, please move if you need to , Sorry)

I'm looking to get hold of a nice FWB, either 124 or 127 sport?

I've a budget of around £200 but am sort of flexible for the right gun!

    Thanks for looking PAUL

Think the mods will be fine with you posting a collectable rifle "wanted" advert here, as many of us have done similar over the last year (I've personally placed nine and all with good results) without any hassle, so should be okay . Imho, you could also ad an older HW35 and Webley Omega to your want list, as these are both top draw too (but it's up to you). Atb: Gareth W-B.

Thanks Mike, I phoned them but it's gone?

They do have an anshuzt 335 in .177 though but the guy seemed in a rush to get off the phone and i never got my questions answered, so i'll try again next tuesday!

Mike (norton) Cheers also bud but i think that one's possibly out of my budget range by the time postage and RFD fees go on top

    Still looking guys!

    Anschutz

The 335 is a nice classic rifle but the stock attachment brackets can be a problem. I would ask the seller to take the action out from the stock and check the brackets. You might consider as a "classic" rifle the HW55. I sold a very nice one recently. I have never owned an FWB 124/127 so I cannot make comparisons, but the HW55 is a joy to shoot and can be beefed up with an HW50 spring. You have the choice of diopter sight, open sights or scope!

I agree on the 35e, got one myself 1979model in .22 from Optima Leisure Products. My brother in Law was then a PC and had the Gun tested to make sure it was legal, it was and is and is still a top gun. Enjoy if you find one > ps what happened to Optima, i got one of there wide angle scopes a 4x32 nice bit of kit
