    How big are the targets?

    hi chaps,

I was wondering how big, in terms of minutes or inches, are the targets used at Bisley?

Am I correct in thinking that the target get bigger as the range is extended?

How big are the v-bulls and scoring rings at 200, 300, 600 and 100yards?

    Thanking you in advance,

    Amir

    Hi Amir.
The targets are different sizes for different types of shooting. The black aiming marks should appear the same size to the shooter whatever the range.

The target sizes as listed in the NRA 138th Imperial meeting book

    Outer - 96 - 52 - 52 - 32 - 22 - 16 - 2

Just to add, for target rifle, the 500 and 600 targets are the same size, but they paste a larger V-bull on the 600. The result is the long range targets are proportionately smaller than the 200-500yd targets. At 900 and 1000yds, it's an idea to swap in a smaller foresight element or you just end up with this pinpirck swimming round in your sights...
