For Sale: BSA Club .177 (Airsporter) air rifle
For Sale: An early 1950's BSA Club .177 air rifle, bearing the 'EA' prefix to the serial number.
This rifle is basically exactly the same as the Airsporter pictured in 'Whitevanman's' thread, except being a BSA Club it is in the smaller calibre.
Being an early version of the rifle it has the refinemnts that went with the first rifles, ie the 'BSA' stamp in the stock; the beautifully engineered and heavy duty underlever catch, and the trigger block finished flush with the cylinder and anodised, rather than being painted.
This example is in very good condition, with all its original blued finish, and the etching, though brown, is still readable. The stock has various marks upon it indicating the rifle has had some use, but there is nothing serious.
The anodising on the trigger block has some wear and light marks.
Overall this is a very good and original example, in perfect working order, and far rarer than the equivalent .22 Airsporter.
Price is £225 + postage -either £21 Special Delivery or £12 Parcelforce.
