I'm an honest guy, fairly knowledgeable about guns in general - this rifle does not belong to me so this is an objective appraisal.

Description/Condition:

This rifle is stamped "Made in Germany" at the rear of the upper cylinder. All of the exposed metal work is coated in rust with light pitting to the barrel and cylinder - I feel confident that when rubbed down, it could be successfully re-blued.

The action cocks and fires without any problems and the spring tension is surprisingly strong. The rifle is complete other than the adjusting wheel/screw fitted to the rear sight but the sights are in place. All securing screws are in place and look like the originals. The stock looks as though it has the original finish, it is not cracked and has just a few minor dents. The stock is fitted with a metal butt plate but I'm not sure if this has been added on at some time later in its life.

The barrel is not rifled and I am unable to find the serial no.
