cutlass problem

hi all
i wonder if anyone can help me!
i have a 3 month old rws cutlass which has developed a problem, the problem being that the magazine wont cycle.
It was fine but last night it just stopped working, the problem seems to be with the looped metal bit that pushes the magazine around when the rifle is cocked. I have tried to move the metal bit maually but it seems to be locked in position.
Does anybody know if this is a common problem which is easily rectified?
I dont really want to return it to where i purchased it as i dont want to be without a rifle?

Had a similar problem on a spectre just take it back to where you bought it & they should return it to manufactuer under guarentee.Steve

just realised it is not the loopy bit of metal (that just holds the magazine) but the indexing catch. it is just all floppy!!!
