    Baikal Makarov MP654K

Decided i am going to get one. But not sure whether to get it in blued steel or silver.will have to order through my local RFD, so wont actualy get to see one before ordering.

Has anyone seen both versions and what do you think?
Also what will swing it is if the the original Makarov firearm was only made in blued steel, then that is what i will get.

And if it did come in silver, is it the same finish as on the C02?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards chip

Eh.. I have the silver and I wish I'd got the blued...

It's a bit too bling for me.
Glock 19, 43. Two ARs and a few other assorted rifles.

I think the blue looks better, the nickle version is only silver on the top slide not the whole frame, so looks a little odd, IMO

York guns import them, I bought one off them a few months ago, they have bumped up the price since then which is naughty as they had plenty of stock.

Personally I haven't seen any in nickel, but I'm pretty sure I've seen some of the clones with such a finish.
The nickel finish is supposed to be rather delicate, but then so is the blue.

    Enjoy it anyway.

I was planning on asking my RFD if they can order me one from here.
As i know they stock SMK rifles so took it they do do business with them.

I have also sent sportsmarketing an e-mail regarding availability, just waiting to here from them before approaching my RFD.

Have decided on the blue steel
    Thanks to everyone who replied.

Remember the Nickle has a black frame they have retouched the picture in that link so it matches better.

Edit Oh you have chosen black OK
