The only problem I have is scope length. The Longbow is a fairly short action a big scope tends to overhang the breach or push your head to far back down the stock. I have a 6.5-20*50 WTC on my Sidewinder vertically it’s absolutely no problem and length wise it’s still OK but it would be better with a shorter scope OR one with a shorter eye relief.

Ideally you should check for length and eye relief before you buy a scope for this gun.

Thanks for that mate, could you do me a big favour and measure the length of you're scope? i think its about 13" but could you clarify it for me, i cant find your particular scope details.

It would be a BIG help in my scope choice, which isnt somthing I want to get wrong lol

    Many Thanks

What sort of accuracy do you get with these Webleys chaps? Groups size at 30 yards?

    Cheers

I suspect it's down to the shooter rather than the gun.
Come to the Ealing club on a Tuesday evening and you can try mine at 20 metres.

Decided to use mine tonight at t'club so here are a pair of 10-shot groups on 10 metre cards at 20 metres. The left-hand one is with the slim Webley silencer, the one on the right is with a Logun. For scale, the outer 10 ring is 10mm across. I was using Daystate 4.51 pellets and had my elbows on the bench. The fliers are entirely mine...

Not bad groups at all, im suprised how much the Logun changed the poi though, or what that something else.

The Logun's much heavier than the Slimtech and I would certainly expect that sort of difference with a PCP, just due to muzzle droop. I don't know if the effect is the same with a springer but I don't see why it shouldn't be. The targets were in the same position on the board and I try to keep the same hold.
