    Calibres

If It was high noon and I was heading for a shootout on Main St, I know which one of these two I would prefer to penetrate my tender hide.

    How about you?

    10 rounds with a .22 rimmy

    or

    6 rounds with a .44 Remington

Believe it or not, the wads do some of the damage.

The .44 if I'm the shooter, but neither if I'm the shootee.

?? what distance you shooting at 2 yards?? LOL

I never seen the fibre wads of my 44 remmy do anything to the target?, just round holes with black lead around them, but to be honest I couldnt group like that anyway, with or without wad holes

That was 20 feet for test purposes as I've been having problems getting it on to the target at all, it was shooting that far to the left. I've had to crank the rear sight across to the right just to get it onto the card.

It's still shooting high though and there's no more elevation adjustment left.

Shooting @ 25 metres @ Bisley - I get round black edged holes in the target & the wads (if I can be bothered using them ) are usually at about the 12 meter mark

that makes me feel ok, I shoot 25m but still not seen the wads?? but its longish grass, use the yellow fibre wads, perhaps not enough powder to push the wad and ball that far LOL
