Mk4 :d
hi, im going to treat myself to my second air rifle for chrismas and have been looking at all the rifles on the market and have come down to 2: the theoben rapid mk2 or the daystate mk4S. i love the rapids and have always dreamed of owning one but reading the reviews on the daystate mk4 and the electronic action im prefering the daystate right now so what do you think?
Mk4 :d
BSA Ultra SS Regged.177
For me, it would be the Mk4 every time, but then if you can, try both and see which float your boat rather than go by reviews as both rifles have their staunch advocates.
MK4, but I might be termed somewhat biased
"Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encountered automatic weapons"
Definetly the rapid
Both great guns, but if I were buying a new gun it would be the Mk4. Don't think there is much around to touch it at the moment...
However, try both before you decide, as I think fit and handling are one of the most important aspects of being able to shoot accurately.
looks like the daystate gets the vote then. think thats what im gonna get! with a nice mtc viper on top! nice airwolf by the way ty im sure youv got the scopes mixed up in ur sig tho
MK4 for me, although the Merlyn looks very nice too.
Personally if it were me buying a new rifle with these funds I'd have to go for one of the HW100 variants and use the change to buy extras.
Rapids have never really done it for me.

Although I have a vested interest in the Mk4, it would be wise to try before you buy, after all it is a big investment.
I would strongly suggest that you go to the Midland show this weekend in Weston under Lizard, it is not that far from Cardiff, it is a good day out in its own right, the weather looks as if it will be good - and as a bonus you can try the guns for yourself at the Airgun Experience area.

i'd wait to see how the reliabilty goes with the mk4 before spending your hard earned.
the rapid is a tried and tested gun and a safe bet.
