PPK/s and Maks UBC comp plea!

    Hi boys (and honorary boys!)
How about a side shoot for PPK and MAK owners?
I've got a rifled lothar barrel on my PPK and with round lead it groups sub dinner plate.
After all the PPK must be one of Umarex's biggest sellers and I feel discriminated against! Innit.

I've used BB's in a couple of my revolvers as well as my P23 (PPK look-a-like) they all hit the knockdowns at 10 mtrs.

Pad.E used his P23 in the UBC Co2 comp
Consistantly won wooden spoons so they cant all be bad
Mind you I think he used pellets.

Dont need a sideshoot for em, use em in main comp

Its a real potch loading single pellets with tweezers through the ejection port.
When the comp was first launched I did ask if I could shoot round shot but was dismissed out of hand. Off a bench my PPK will give sub 1/2" groupings at 6m so it is viable. It would be great to be able to use it and challenge myself to get better semi auto technique.

Is your roof high enough to allow for the "hold over"

if we did have a PPK/MAK sub comp, you wouldn't be allowed in anyway Crabbet, we are a pure breed class (a la Crufts) mate, don't want no mongrels round here. lothar barrels indeed....

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post here as a non UBC member. However if I may offer a suggestion, I used to shoot skittles with my .45 "in the old days". I'm sure a similar comp could be held using "FRIJJI" milk shake bottles, or if the range was limited to about 10 feet the small drinking yogurt bottles would be ideal.

They'd be a lot easier to get hold of than 10 pin bowling pins.

How does one appl;y for the UBC? I have a PPK, a CP99, CP99 compact and a Walther lever action.

Hi Mark, nothing to feel silly about, if your daft as a brush or mad as a hatter you will fit in nicely.
