It appears I may have been a bit harsh on these pistols in the past.
Yesterday I took wifeys colt 1911 for an outing as it has not been out for a while.
I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy that can be acheived two handed single stage shooting.
Or the fun I had rattling off a few mags fast fire.
There are two things I would like to improve:
A/ the trigger a bit heavy and creepy, but liveable.
B/ that silly pressure switch I'd love to do away with it as it is a pain.
I was so impressed I'm looking at one or a Walther CP88 for myself.
Colt 1911, Can the pressure switch at the back of the grip be removed?
Whats the trigger like on the CP88 model?
Cheers
John

the trigger on double action is quite heavy but they are all like that, but on single action it makes a big difference i don' think the trigger is as good as the colt though . =]

cp88 is a nice quality gun...ive just bought a beretta a9000s..22 shot mag,,,,70 shots from a co2 bulb,,,single or double action,,,the same size as a cp88,,,but alot lighter,,,field strippable too
i think the cp88 is probably the best co2 gun but the colts are very good too.
