    MVT Airwolf Pellet Choice

Picked up my spanking new MVT Wolf in its sexy black little number from the Midland Game Fair today, yes it's got the tactical stock.

My business went to Stuart at JLS Wednesbury, he was very helpful and informed me that Daystate give a 5year warranty with their rifles sold by him as opposed to the standard 3year offered at other dealers, BARGAIN!! Not only that they also throw in a 3-9 scope, mounts and a tin of pellets all in for the standard retail price. Well as I didnt really need the scope and mounts Stuart offered to swap them for what ever else I wanted upto the same value, so I quickly picked up a 10shot magazine and a sling. Very happy with that deal indeed!!!!

Anyway, back to my question... The rifle will be used 90% hunting and 10% plinking at the range therefore any recommendations for a reliable and effective hunting pellet for the wolf in .177 flavour? Main target quarry is rabbits...

    Many thanks in advance...

Something made by JSB would have a good chance of shooting well through it.....

    JSB Exact
    JSB/Daystate Exact Heavy
    AA Field
Daystate FT (often a good bet to try manufacturers branded pellets)
RWS Superfield appear to be a new JSB clone too.

Picked up some leftover tins of Daystate FT heavies (10.25gr, 4.5mm) at the MGF today. Got charged £8 a tin for them mind you!!
I have always used these and they have always worked really well for bopping bunnies with my .177 wolf.
I thought Daystate were stopping making the FT heavies so I'll trade you a tin for a go with the new ones if you like.
Let me know when you've set up your gorgeous new MVT tactical and I'll do you a pellet swap.
