    imports in to uk

Good afternoon to you all, this one is a bit legalistic so apologies !. Anyways here goes, is it still possible to import guns or parts from say America or Canada , i have in mind old Crossmans or the such and parts to keep my Crossmans and Sheridan rifles working. Yes you could probabley get these from Mr Knibbs but (bit Pricey ) . And what about customs charges ! Allinfo gratefully accepted.

I think you would be ok with parts.
As for duty, if the contents are over £18 in value, you may get charged, seems very hit and miss.
If you could find a private contact in the US, they could post parts to you marked “Gift”.

All guns coming in from the States these days seem to get chronographed by Customs!
