    EB20 or Drulov

    Hello guys.

Thinking of getting a pistol for plinking. Decided on two extremes, the EB20 and the Drulov DU-10.

Have seen a couple of the Drulov for sale, but a little salty for me at around £200. Was hoping to get one for somewhat less than that. Am I being unrealistic?

Having difficulty locating an EB20, and wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of one for sale please?

Opinions of these two pistols would be much appreciated.

    Cheers.

I paid around £200 for my Drulov and I love it. Once i had got everything set up as I wanted it is fantastic.

There is a lot of hidden adjustment which can be done with these, especially the trigger mechanism although it does need to be stripped down for some parts.

The only downside is that if the trigger is not adjusted properly and it is set too light you can have a problem with the pistol going fully automatic on you with all 5 shots disapearing in one loud bang along with a chunk of your gas, but this can be sorted with careful setting up and not getting too heavy with the power setting.

I think you would be lucky to find a Drulov under £200 TBH, but if you can stretch to it, you only spend it once and they are great fun.

Besides, its not exactly like spending money, because if you decide to sell you'll get it back

That's what I tell the wife anyway. And these days your money is probably safer in a Drulov than in the bank...

They were imported by Edgar Bros but I don't think they have an official distributor any more. Your best bet is probably to keep an eye on the sales forum, or ring around and see if anyone has one in s/h.

No longer imported, and the original is no longer made I believe.
There are several pistols similar to it, but most are quite rare with some exceptions. I do recommend them.

Zastava GP45 is the same as Drulov but with combat (2 hand) grips.
Recommend as the ultimate CO2 choice. Very accurate, consistent and economical.
Mine rocks and its not for sale.
To compare with an EB 20 is like comparing a violin to a sledge hammer.

So which side of the fence are you going for PESCA?
Full power knock down or fast fire tack driver?

Pleased to meet you, PESCA! I thought at first it was some type of air pistol competition!
