What birds can i shoot as pest control?

i hung old cds up as the light being reflected sometimes scares them off, even tried a scarecrow but had no joy, reckon that would be seen as satisfactory?

I have found that deterents such as hanging up CDs are not very effective, because the birds seem to wise up after a while and ignore them.

i knew it probably wouldnt work but atleast it shows i attempted other methods first
